Pittsburgh, PA; 08, December 2015:
On December 15th, 2015, My Visa Coach will launch the first of a series
of online courses teaching visa hopefuls how to navigate the US
immigration application process. The first course will cover the K1 Fiancé Visa and will debut as the only online course in the world for US family-based visas.
My Visa Coach enters the industry as an alternative to immigration attorney services or completing a visa without assistance. Each course in the series includes instructions, tips, downloadable checklists, video demonstrations, and other multimedia tools, as well as a personal touch. Company founder Heather Ashamalla, a veteran of the Fiancé Visa herself, insists that the current immigration system needs a change of atmosphere.
"The whole visa process is incredibly frustrating," she says. "Visa assistance options before My Visa Coach were dull and cumbersome, and made the long process feel like torture. You already feel like you are being tortured because you are away from your loved one -- why make it worse? We try to make it an understandable and empowering experience."
K1 Fiancé Visas are sought by American citizens with international fiancés they wish to bring to the US to marry and set up life. The thousands of couples who apply every year have to go through an expensive process spanning more than a year, according to current processing times. Once the foreign partner receives the visa, he or she has permission to enter America and may later apply for a green card and work permission.
My Visa Coach also offers several free resources for visa education, including a visa application blog and a free introductory course that coaches visa hopefuls in the basic skills they need for any visa application.
