Renovated, Pet-Friendly Hotel Makes Historic Downtown Zanesville Accessible To All

Zanesville, Ohio; 10, March 2015: In many cities, staying in downtown is cost-prohibitive because there are no economical hotel choices, and pet-friendly hotels in town are very difficult to find. But in Zanesville, Ohio, it is possible to stay in a pet-friendly, affordable hotel located in the city’s historic business district and still have some money left over to enjoy the city.

The hotel that makes this possible is the Econo Lodge Zanesville, located close to Secrest Auditorium, near Ohio University Zanesville and convenient to much of the rest of the small city.

“We offer a unique combination of value and amenities that combine nicely with our downtown location,” a spokeswoman for the hotel said. “There’s not another choice in the area that offers all three.”

Like other economy hotels, the Econo Lodge offers a free continental breakfast, has a best rate guarantee and offers cable television. Unlike many other, less convenient properties, however, the hotel has recently been renovated to offer an even better experience than ever before.

Some rooms offer an additional upgraded experience that features a hot tub, a pillow-top mattress, a microwave and a refrigerator.

The property also has its own restaurant; something else that sets it apart from today’s other affordable hotel offerings.

“We also have a bar and lounge area that serves drinks, so you can safety and easily enjoy a couple of beverages at the end of the day without having to drive anywhere.”

Pets up to 10 pounds are allowed with only a $10 per night fee and a $50 deposit.
